What We Do

We listen to
your story

Your story is important to us. Call us your health detectives. We have an affinity for the mystery-solving aspect of medicine. Your symptoms are the way your body is trying to get your attention that something is out of balance. We put the pieces of the puzzle together and tell you what it all means. Together, we can design a plan that works to help your body heal.

We create programs
catered to you

Everything is connected – digestion, hormones, brain health, detoxification,
immunity, energy, etc. Multiple factors contribute to your health – diet, lifestyle, genetics, psycho-emotional makeup, spirituality, socio-
economics, environment, and so much more. We look at all these factors to devise a plan tailored and personalized to what is right for you.

We order
specialized testing

Go beyond basic bloodwork. Every lab asks a question. We look at what testing has been done (and explain what it means) and arrange to get additional key health
biomarkers, beyond conventional testing, to provide you with the answers you are looking for.

We stay by
your side

We provide support and track progress. Follow-up appointments allow your naturopathic doctor to help you move from solving a
specific health problem to living your healthiest life by bridging the gap in conventional medicine. Our
Naturopaths can help you advocate for the best in health care.

Like a conventional doctor, dentist or chiropractor, naturopathic doctors must first complete pre-medical studies at university. A four year, full-time program in naturopathic medicine is then completed at an accredited naturopathic college. The first two years of study focus on basic medical sciences and diagnosis. The last two years concentrate on naturopathic principles and therapeutics, including extensive clinical practice in a supervised teaching clinic. To become licensed two sets of standardized NPLEX exams must be passed. Naturopathic doctors must take ongoing continuing educational courses to maintain their licenses.

At this time, naturopathic medicine is not covered by Saskatchewan Health, but the majority of extended health care plans include naturopathic medicine. Insured patients should contact their employer or insurance agent to see whether they are covered and for what amount.
